LUNA was developed as a children’s concept brand for McLaren, with a focus on building an engaging, character-driven world that introduces young audiences to the excitement of racing. Our role was to design and animate a suite of characters, environments, and story moments that balanced humour, heart, and high-octane action. From expressive character concepts and detailed storyboards to polished designs and animated sequences, the project brought to life the journey of Luna and her friends as they navigate challenges, rivalries, and the thrill of racing. The result was a vibrant and playful world that set the foundations for an original children’s IP, blending motorsport energy with storytelling designed to capture imagination and inspire the next generation of fans.
