Making a movie with Jonno Davies!

As our YouTube channel began to grow; currently closing in on 350,000 subs we thought it was the perfect time to plan & think about where we want the channel to go. With this in mind we began to scheme (& dream).

The reaching out began!

As we started to line up people for our latest YT content series (an interview with animation) we started to really think about who we wanted to talk to.

Our first in this series is the fabulous Jonno Davies - star of Better Man.

In this mini-movie we chat with Davies about all things; life, acting, goals, dreams and why the Monkey!

When working on a movie like this, our team sits down and asks the question "How does the Animation impact the story?" with this at the forefront of our minds we get to work. Sketching and scribbling we bring the story to life with art and animation.

With this film in particular we really wanted to capture the idea of exploration, wonder and finding a love for the art life with textured heavy scribbled moments.

Take this frame for example, exploiting the heavy marker pen look and rustic textures we were able to bring a level of wonder to the work. This is the goal with the series.

Over the next months, as our YouTube grows we hope to bring in incredible people to tell their story with animation and illustration.
